Black Flag Pictures inc. is a Montreal, Quebec, film studio. Their latest titles include Crawler (2009) and Rise of the Ghosts (2007). Black Flag Pictures release feature films in the action, thriller, horror and science-fiction genres. Founded in 1992 (as SVBI Films), and formerly working in TV commercials and music video, the small studio gained over the years a reputation of producing high quality movies with budgets under a million$. Unlike most of today's independent studios that will focus on extreme content, Black Flag Pictures productions target the mainstream direct-to-video / television / PTV international market, and focus on mainstream content with powerful storylines that will be attractive to a large audience rather than just the horror/science-fiction afficionados.
